An audiovisual excavation in the Gordón mining basin (León), in the town of Ciñera, affected by a situation of dismantling of the mining industry and the ways of life associated with it.
The project has been proposed as a collective work through local groups, in which the latest images of the mine are interspersed with the conversations held between women miners throughout the 2016-2017 period. In the resulting film, layers of complexity are added to an epic reading about the class struggle, while aspects such as care work or emotional components, usually relegated in the conventional story about the mine, are valued.

Metodology
The project has been planned as a collective work through local groups. Mainly a group of women from Ciñera participated along with colleagues from the “Women of Coal” association, who have recorded numerous dialogues around the mining situation. These conversations, edited by the group itself with the coordination of the LAAV_ (Laboratory of Experimental Audiovisual Anthropology), have been assembled by relating them to the images of the interior of the mine, already being dismantled, recorded by the last workers, some of them coming precisely from a confinement that demanded better conditions for closure operations.
