The lyrics of Pablo Hasel, Valtònyc and Elgio have not only been condemned by an unjust and vengeful judiciary system, but they have also been victims of a media strategy that portrays them as delinquents and “enemies of democracy”. This film addresses their cases from a personal and artistic perspective, showing the experiences that have led them to become political victims of reprisals, as well as the consequences this repression has had on their lives, whether that be disenfranchisement, exile or prison.
Several musicians and singers, who are also important characters in the documentary, recreate some of the condemned lyrics and create new versions in various musical styles: Ana Tijoux, Yolanda Sey, Albert Pla and Za, among many others.

Since the birth of the project, it was clear the the organization would have to be completely egalitarian among all those involved: the civic platform for the freedom of expression, No Callarem (from where the film takes its name), the audiovisual cooperative, Bruna, and the self-managed radio programme, Carne Cruda. The creative process for this documentary was participatory and horizontal and work was carried out through online meetings.
