The Vivim el Barri collective is a group of young people aged 16 to 25, linked to the Raval neighborhood in Barcelona. This group participated in a cinematic experimentation workshop organized by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and facilitated by the Cooperativa La Selva.

For a week, a group of young people with connections to the Raval neighborhood in Barcelona participated in a workshop. Over the course of eight days, the participants visited spaces and people in the neighborhood. Through their own stories and those of their neighbors, they experienced every aspect of filmmaking as a collective: scriptwriting, location scouting, shooting, editing, and even creating a soundtrack. In this way, they approached cinema as a tool to encourage participation in the neighborhood through critical reflection and cinematic practice.
